  3. Hebrews 13:21 says, "Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ" What does that mean?

Questions

  1. When Jesus said that He had come to preach the Gospel to the poor, what kind of poverty was he referring to?

  2. While we know that the saved will not have a broken heart in heaven, how can God minister to our broken hearts today? 

  3. When Jesus said He came to deliver, recover, and set at liberty, what was He referring to? 

  4. Part of the prophetic promise in Isaiah 61 said that God would “give unto them beauty for ashes.” This prophecy had direct future implications for the nation of Israel and applications for all who will ever trust Christ. How can the believer today enjoy beauty (joy) instead of the ashes of despair?
